Bro. Miles Darden, the worlds largest mason who
died in Lexington, Tennessee in 1857 at the age of 58. He weighed
over 71 stones, was 7 feet 6 inches tall, and 6 feet 4 inches around the
waist. Construction of his coffin took 100 feet of timber and it
took 17 men to carry it.

Bro J. G. Tarver was 8 feet 4 inches and weighed
30 stones. He was a member of Alba Lodge 633 Texas. Bro.
Tarver was performer in the Ringland Brothers Circus (All seven Ringland
brothers where Freemansons) His cowboy boots were size 16 and his hat,
size 9.

Bro. John Assen was 8 feet 6 inches tall and
weighed 38 stones. He was raised in highland Park Lodge 382 in Los
Angeles on 14th July 1924. The ceremony was performed by the
Grand Master, S. Crites and it took 12 men to raise the candidate.

Bro. Robert Wadlow was the tallest person in
medial history. He was born in 1918, and died on 15th July 1940.
Bro Wadlow was almost 9 feet tall and weighed 36 stones.
